Moro East: Introduction
In Moro East, Sam and Sam renew their passion for the food of Spain and the Muslim Mediterranean, but this time they find their inspiration a little closer to home... in an East End allotment. The 150 inspiring and imaginative recipes use fresh, seasonal produce, and range from Moro favourites to the food they cook on the allotment such as pigeon salad with figs, chickpeas and pomegranate molasses, and tortilla with onion tops, grilled sardines with chopped fennel, chilli and garlic or courgette and garlic soup.
